Full Closure of the C-D System Overnight on Saturday

On Saturday, July 17, there will be a full overnight closure of the northbound I-15 C-D system from 9400 South to I-215 as crews install overhead freeway signs. The C-D system will be reduced to one lane beginning at 10 p.m. and fully closed from midnight to 6 a.m. Drivers traveling northbound who need to access 7200 South or I-215 will be detoured to 5300 South. Access to I-215 from 7200 South will be closed during these times as well. Drivers should plan ahead and expect travel delays.

Nighttime lane and ramp closures will be ongoing through July as crews finalize construction work on I-15.

Nightly Lane Closure

Drivers should expect nightly lane closures on northbound I-15 between Bangerter Highway and I-215 through the end of July as crews complete final construction activities.

Drivers should also expect nightly lane closures on 9000 South at I-15 while crews paint the bridge structures. These shifting lane closures are expected to happen through the end of July.
